Jeon drew the audience's attention by climbing on a chair during the speech of Cho Kyung-tae, the "Praise Party" candidate who voted for former President Yoon's impeachment, and a banner with "Yoon Suk Yeol President AGAIN Jeon Hae-gil" appeared among the responding audience.
Jeon, who is known to have joined the 6th National Convention in Daegu and Gyeongbuk, entered the joint speech session of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region held at Exco, Daegu, with a PRESS ticket given to reporters in June. Jeon, who sat in the press room, broadcasted the scene live on his YouTube throughout the speech.
While the Supreme Council candidates' political views continued, Jeon's actions caused chaos at the scene. When Jeon left the press box and took the podium in front of the audience when he said, "I can't defend the martial law" during Kim Geun-sik's speech, he began to lead the slogan of "traitor" to party members.
When he shouted "traitor" among supporters of candidates Kim Moon-soo and Jang Dong-hyuk, who opposed former President Yoon's impeachment, there was a backlash among supporters of Cho Kyung-tae and Ahn Cheol-soo, who supported the "anti-tan faction." Later, when Jeon sat down again, Cho's supporters visited Jeon and protested with abusive language, saying, "Who am I a traitor to when I am a member of the responsible party?"
Candidate Kim also said in his speech, "How can we fight with a person who is mired in a conspiracy theory for fraudulent elections like Jeon over there and justifies martial law as an enlightenment?" and added, "The people do not give trust to our opposition party."
Do you really think they deserve to represent our nation's conservatives?
