Based on my limited understanding, it appears to be a combination of Marxist class theory and a niche legal concern blown out of proportion by activists who need to justify their continued anger. It has no place in primary or secondary schools because it is at best a poor analytical tool for general historical trends, and at worst a way to shackle minorities economically and intellectually by discouraging them from even trying to achieve anything.

I'd simplify it even further than that: CRT is a form of Marxism that prioritises focus on ethnic factions instead of socio-economic classes. Otherwise, spot on!

By the way, it's nothing new: despite the fact that the term "Critical Race Theory" is only forty years old, Marxist regimes have been pitting ethnic groups against each other since day one. Need I remind you who coined the word "racist" to begin with?
