I think my time in India is shortly coming to an end. I’ve been living and working here for almost a year now. I’m still enjoying it though. However, for earning and saving money it’s most likely not the ideal place to remain. I assume it’s a great place for already retired people that need to save some money while enjoying the sun.
My working contract ends in August. I think this is a good indicator to relocate somewhere else. I kind of like the concept of moving to Australia for a year and earn some bits and pieces. The minimum wage there is 25 Australian dollars. Which is roughly about 18 USD. Therefore, even working as a plumber would be kind of lucrative.
It’s kind of easy for me to obtain a working visa there. My German passport is quite useful in those kinds of circumstances.
The only thing is I don’t really want to operate in the field I’m experienced in. I want to do something different.
Do some of you guys have some experience in working in Australia? How does the procedure work over there? Share some experiences?
I bet that is kind of fun to consider... Where do I want to go next.
I'm having so many ideas. I'm also thinking about selling everything I own in the physical world, and ride a motorbike back home to Germany. That would be fun too! :D
