On Repeat
Day by day,
I swallow the bitter truth,
That when we repeat,
The same thing over and over,
It will eventually lose,
Its meaning.
And this whole day,
I am pronouncing your name,
Over and over,
And over again,
In hope for you,
To mean less and less for me.
