Well, this year has been a game changer for me too. In january I started to expand my social presence. Showing my work more, getting it out. Thats been great.
At the beginning of summer I discovered bitcoin for 3rd time and this time I put in the work and learned about it to detail (7 days of nothing but intense learning). Then I bought my first BTC at 2500 USD. Oh what a time...
In last 6 months I learned a shitload about the state of the world, I explored my political and phyloshophical stances. I learned how to be a healthy sceptic.
I also discovered my biggest weakness. Im kinda scared of owning a lot of money. I come from a family that never had a lot of money. My biggest challenge in 2018 will be to handle this "fear" and learn how to relax properly and how to ignore the number in my balance.

I think we are even luckier than guys buying in 2013. We have awesome benefit of knowledge they had to earn.
Plus, we are both young professionals with income, but very low expanses. No kids, no family, no huge bills. Our only enemy is between our ears.
