Great post.
Always loved the work of Dali. I've seen some of his sketches and plans for paintings that showed how he worked out all the double image paintings.
Some of his works get a bit weird and kitsch for the sake of it but there is some absolute genius ideas and execution of those ideas in other work.
Love that you show the Mae West room, that's the type of thing I'm talking about.
