- Foundational Teaching #15 - The Truth is never defended.
The Truth is only presented.
The Truth defends Himself... quite well.
Lies... have to be defended.
But... if you come up against Truth all big and bad, He'll take a little boy... with a little rock and slingshot... hit you right between the eyes, knock you to the ground.... walk over to you, and cut your head off... with your own sword.
But first... He'll brag about it. 😊
Truth burns.
He either purifies.... or destroys.
Truth is not mean.... He's Truth.
Truth does not agree... to disagree.
Unbelief will not respond to Truth... no matter how WELL He is presented... and demonstrated.
Belief will respond to Truth... no matter how POORLY He is presented... and demonstrated.
You never prove God wrong... you only prove Him right.
Always.
Obedience to Truth is not to be discussed.
Truth is to be studied/ learned... then APPLIED.
THIS... is wisdom.
If we study Truth... we will be able to recognize Him... and His WAY in the world... as opposed to untruth's.
Then... we have two options.
Truth is to be obeyed.... or disobeyed.
Each... has its own rewards (Deuteronomy 28 - Leviticus 26).
You're either FOR Truth...or AGAINST Truth. (Matthew 12... Luke 11)
If you don't like Truth... you don't like Christ. And if you don't obey Truth.... you don't LOVE Christ. - John 14-15
If you are against Truth... Good Luck. 😊

satan can't hang around Truth... nor can his people.
Truth BURNS him... and his people. So they go to back-pedalling real quick.
That is why satan left Christ in the desert.
As long as I got Truth on my side... I ain't got nothin' to worry about.
It's the ones who ain't got Truth on their side that have something to worry about.... Revelation 21:8 & Revelation 22:15.
God is NOT on your side... if you are not on His.
God does not lie.
God is not in the fiery lake of burning sulphur.
That... is where His enemies are.
Unbelief will not respond to Truth... no matter how WELL He is presented and demonstrated.
Belief will respond to Truth... no matter how POORLY... He is presented and demonstrated.
You never prove God wrong... you only prove Him right.

Truth's consequences... are non-denominational.
God's laws/ Word apply to everyone... equally.
Many think they are obeying Truth and yet... do not STUDY Truth.
This is deception... which is one of the four characteristics of failure.
How can you do.... what you do not know?
You can be hooked up to all the power in the universe... but if you don't flip the switch, it does you no good.
You'll still be walking in darkness.
Example: Electricity... and lights.
Gotta follow instructions.
Remind me to tell you about my "combine story" sometime.
Many people's God does not even exist.... except in their own mind. This is called idolatry in the Word.
Christ says, " I AM The WAY... The TRUTH... and The LIFE.
This means everything else... must be the dead-end... the lie and the death... in all five areas of life.
Opinion and facts are not Truth. They change.
Many confuse facts with Truth... but it can be a fact that you wear a blue shirt today... and a red shirt tomorrow.
Truth's consequences are Truth... unless Truth is put to death.
This is only a temporary solution, because as with Christ... Truth will just pop up three days later.
They are One.
There is nothing hidden... that will not be revealed.
The first thing sin makes you is ashamed of yourself.
The 2nd.... afraid.
The 3rd... you try to cover it up/ hide (Gen. 3).
Adam and Eve tried and learned this... the hard way.
We all have done this... and some are better at it than others. :-)
Regardless of how emotional we get... Truth's consequences are unemotional.
They are not open to debate.
Example of opinion: Adam and Eve probably bawled like a baby... as they were being escorted out of Eden.
Example of Truth: They had to GET OUT... and DIE.
Many are ruled by their emotions, how they feeeellllll... or by what they believe... instead of God, instead of the Word.
Emotions are awesome, but the Word says, "Be angry (emotion), sin not."
When it comes to Truth... what we believe or feel.... is irrelevant... unless it lines up with Truth.
Many do not like this, so they fight against Truth... instead of getting Truth to fight for them.
The Truth says, "Those who are not with Me.... are against Me. Those who do not gather with Me, scatter." PERIOD.
If you come against the Word.... the Word will come against you.
God will respond to a challenge. He IS a warrior.
It is always God vs. satan. Reckon Who gonna win? Ahhhhahahaha.
God gives grace to the humble, those who are TEACHABLE.... who come to Him, learn from Him and obey Him. This is what being humble means. He resists the proud.
This means He gives His ways, His secrets... His favor, His presence... ONLY to the TEACHABLE... not TEACH A BULL.
He gives only LAW to the proud.
Omniscience never learns... He ONLY teaches.
Truth only talks with those who are ready to learn and OBEY Truth. Those are who Christ hung out with.
The ignorant (those that ignore, did not KNOW or receive Him) always shot off their mouth... before they loaded their brain... and they always put Him down, tried to shut Him up or... tried to kill Him.
He stayed away from them.
Do not go where you are tolerated... go where you are celebrated.
I tell my brother, "Be the one doing the influencing.... not the one being influenced. Don't be like me. Be BETTER than me. Be like Jesus."
We either vertically align ourselves with Truth... or we align ourselves with lies.
ALL liars... have their place in the fiery lake of burning sulphur.
(Rev. 21:8... Rev. 22:15).
The Word says that one of the reasons the pharisees (they're just fair yuh see) and the sadducees (they're always sad yuh see) came against Jesus was.... they "had no room for His Word".
That means... they were full of something else.
They said things like, "JUST WHO, do you think you are!?"
Another reason is, they did not want to change, and Christ told them, "REPENT" (which means to change :-) and... "If you love Me, you will obey Me.
Why do you call me LORD LORD and do not do what I say?"
This is why I ask, "Is your God, the God of your feelings... or the God of the Bible?"
God can deal... with ignorance... and the right spirit.
But make no mistake about it... God WILL DEAL... with arrogance and the wrong spirit.
When Christ comes back with HIS entourage... it ain't gonna be like it was last time folks.
Last time He came... as the Lamb of God.
Next time... He comes as the Lion of Judah.
Mercy always precedes judgment. It is called a grace period (Jonah, Cain, David, the Israelites, the Cross, us, and on and on).
All sin is a lie... because it goes against Truth. Lies have to be defended.
Another Truth is: Do not go to the ones who are ignorant of Truth... to learn Truth.
They... will lead you astray.
Christ says it this way to the p's and s's, "you do NOT KNOW the scriptures... OR the power of God.
When the blind lead the blind... both fall in the ditch."
We do not have time to argue. You cannot teach... the unteachable.
The unteachable always remain.... unhappy.
You cannot feed people... who are already full.
Now... I don't know what they're full OF.
I just know... that you can't feed'em.
They'll throw up a buncha crap on you... cause they're FULL. 😊
You feed people, who are hungry... and there are multitudes out there who are starving for Truth.
When Christ spoke... the people were either amazed... or they were silenced and a lot of times... they were BOTH.
A lie is a lie... even if everybody believes it.
The Truth is the Truth... even if nobody believes Him.
You can come face to face with Truth.... and still not face Truth.
Untruth, will always be silenced... by The Truth.
If you don't like the Truth... then you don't like Christ.
And if you don't obey the Truth... then you don't LOVE Christ (John 14:6 & John 15).
