Alone time... with God.
It is the place God renews the minds of the people... that He is taking from slavery to the Promise Land (PL).
It is the place God takes the time to teach His people His Word, His WAY... so they can do His will.
He teaches them how to operate while they're going to... and after they get in... the PL.
A GOOD Father... ALWAYS teaches His children (John 6:45).
The FIRST GROUP... didn't make it in.
It's the same today. (SPDV)
Slavery mentality.
They said.... We can't do that.
And of course... they were absolutely right.
They SURE couldn't.
Many people today... sound like a bunch of first generation Israelites.... while a few sound like Joshua and Caleb. - Numbers 13-14
You cannot solve a problem with the same brain... that caused the problem.
First you must change your mindset.
You can't just take the man/ wo-man... out of slavery.
You gotta take slavery... OUT OF... the man/ wo-man.

--- I hear many times the excuse... "But we were not taught".
Then sit down... and LEARN. :-)
Then... GO TO WORK.
People need help out there...and many are waiting on your voice to lead them/ show them the WAY.
But instead of doing that... they continue to cling to the excuse that they were not taught (like that is going to help them in the end)... so they will not have to do anything.
If they realize they were not taught... then they also realize the fact... and are essentially admitting... that they do not know.
You want to be free? ...Then go help others to become free.
In upcoming FTs I will be describing the principles... and process from slavery... to the Promise Land.
You cannot take slavery mentality... into the promised land.
If you do... you will wind up a slave in the promised land.... or you will die in the desert.
You can never take it all out.
Once it's in you, it's IN YOU.... just like you can't unsee a murder... or unhear a lie.
However... you CAN greatly dilute it with the good.
I heard Bill Britt many years ago give a great analogy with vinegar and pure water.
Take a glass with 1/3 vinegar in the bottom (representing the bad) and start drip.... drip.... drip... dripping pure water in (representing the good).
Gotta change focus.
The natural mind is at enmity with God.
That's why the first crowd didn't make it into the PL.
We are bombarded from all sides... and what repeatedly goes in the eyes and ears.... comes out the mouth and hands. Good or bad. Truth or lie. Multiplied.
This is why Paul gives his... "think on these things" speech.
A friend of mine commented one time... when I was teaching on this subject in a BIBLE STUDY... "You can't climb a wall of negative... with ONE brick of positive."
I said, "WOW... that's exactly right".
If you are a slave and you do not renew your mind in the desert.... you will become a slave in the Promise Land or you get to die in the desert.
You will cling to the problem... and let go of the SOLUTION.
The solution ALWAYS... takes care of the problem.
You will continue acting the same as you did in slavery... and want to go back once you get out... because that is how you grew up and were trained/ programmed.
It's called... "slavery mentality."
The truly sad part is... many do not even perceive that they have it.
There is nothing more pitiful than a slave... who thinks they're free.
It is how you will continue to think, act... feel about, and see yourself.
Christ says it like this, "When an evil/ unclean spirit goes out of a man... it wanders through dry places seeking rest... but does not find it (there is no peace for the wicked).
Then he says... 'I will return to the house I left.'
And he takes with him seven other spirits... more wicked than himself (cause that's who wicked spirits hang out with - FGFTR).
The final condition.. of that man is worse than the first."
Our final condition... is supposed to be BETTER... than the first.
When God led His people out of slavery... He did not lead them straight to the Promised Land.
He took them... to the DESERT.
He gave Moses the law in the desert and said, "Do not act like the people you are going to drive out.
When you get there... act like THIS."
He gave them the 10 commandments... which Christ summed up in two.
But this was just the beginning.
The desert is a place of PRACTICE, and testing... of learning to follow and obey God... before you get to the PL.
There is a distinct, step by step process to the PL today (FT#18).
This requires... MENTORSHIP.
It is the same today as it was for the Israelites... just a different variation, 2016 style.
This process is around... 14 months and 21 days.
It can take you 5, 10, 20 years... or never.
It is ENTIRELY... up to you.
It depends on how much... you value your freedom.
In upcoming FT's... I will be describing the principles and process... from slavery to the Promise Land.
When you are saved... and you do not start the process of renewing the mind (desert time/ alone time with God)... you will continue to act like you did.... BEFORE you were saved (Romans 12).
You will wonder... why nothing is changing.
Matter of fact... it gets worse.
It is because nothing new has been planted in your mind... and therefore nothing new planted in your life.
We are to have the mind of Christ.
It is called... "Christ consciousness".
Actions/ Fruit comes from Mouth.
Mouth comes from Thought.
Thought comes from Heart.
Heart comes from Spirit/ Root.
Spirit comes from the Word of God... or the word of satan. FGFTR (FT#17).
The Spirit ALWAYS follows the Word.
God SAID... "Let there be light".
The Spirit went poof... and there was light.
Go to the dentist... and let him work on your teeth... in the dark... and see how that works out for you.
That is why Christ says... "I Am the Light of the world."
Jesus Christ IS.... the Word of God (Rev. 19:13).
That IS His name.
That is WHO HE IS.
That is how Faith comes... by hearing the Word.
That's why I encourage people to read the Word... ALOUD and slowwwly.
Who are you listening to?
By your ACTIONS... WHO are you believing (Gen. 1-3)?
We have to be renewed... from Spirit-Action.
If you do not start this process... the Word says you will remain a babe in Christ.
They range from ages... 5-125.
Age has NOTHING to do with wisdom.
Babies do not produce fruit.
Babies are very busy.
They have to be taught, fed milk... looked after and.... they CRY a lot. :-)
Same thing... with Christian babies.
Busy-ness/ activity has nothing to do... with productivity.
Only mature plants produce fruit.
You have to be prepared for the place before you get there... or you will lose the place after you get there.
This is what happened to the Israelites.

---- Doing the same thing.... produces the same result.... MULTIPLIED.
Good... or bad.
Doing the same thing that got you into the mess.... will not get you out of the mess.
Different information... and ACTION is needed.
This is what God uses to change the mind. That takes receiving new input... because CDWYDK (FT#4).
Many people are being released from slavery during this time... but they do not perceive that they are... and they want to go back.
They are fed manna for over a year... but they do not recognize it.
God always feeds you manna in the desert.... so you don't have to worry about things such as, food or lights or clothes... while He is teaching you and leading you to the PL.
The problem is... most WASTE their manna.
They don't build something permanent.... with their temporary.
They don't learn anything new... so they have to go back to slavery... that is, IF... someone will buy them (Deut. 28:67-68).
He is teaching you and testing you... to see if you will follow and obey Him.
He is showing you that man does not live on bread alone... but on every Word that comes from the mouth of God.
Once you get into the PL... the manna stops and your business feeds you.
You DO, what you have been taught... in the desert.
What Moses and Joshua did temporarily in the Old Testament... Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit did eternally in the New.
Abba sent Moses.
He saved/ delivered (the Hebrew word is the same) them from physical slavery/ death... and relayed the Word of God to us.
Abba sent Christ.
He saved/ delivered us from spiritual slavery/ death and IS... the Word of God made flesh to us.
He not only told us.... but He came and He SHOWED us.
The Old Testament... is a preview of the New.
Jesus Christ's shed BLOOD atones for our sin... and makes us worthy to be saved.
But Jesus Christ's WORDS... teach us how to prosper on the earth.
One... is the King.
The other.... is the Kingdom.
