The Government of Lhokseumawe City, Aceh opened a cheap market in the month of Ramadan to help the community. Various foodstuffs are also provided in the cheap market with low prices, such as sugar, oil, eggs and rice.
This cheap market is in the yard of the Islamic Center Mosque, to help streamline the living costs of the community. People are keen to buy some of the ingredients supplied in the cheap market and they have to queue to get it.
This cheap market is held to help the less fortunate people in order to welcome the holy month of Ramadhan 1439 hijriah, so it can ease the economic burden of the community.
