So what do I mean when I say that Compassion is a lost Trait?
Simple, I mean that these Days most People's have forgotten what Compassion is and how to be Compassionate.
What is Compassion?
If I go for a Textbook definition than Compassion is the ability to understand the emotional state of Another Person or Oneself.
Nowadays People are so busy with their own Ambitions that they aren't even aware of other People's Feelings or their own for that Matters.
I truly Believe Compassion is something that makes us Humane. If we discard this feeling than we are no better than a Robot who just works with the Press of a Button.

So very true. Being compassionate is so very important to our humanity.
I definitely forgot about this word or maybe just glossed over its meaning. That is not to say that I don't practice it. I practice sympathy too.
I think somewhere along the line, I guess in the Clinton years when President Clinton famously said, "I feel your pain," empathy became the thing to have. I know I was taught that in school.
As a matter of fact, I largely dismiss empathy now. There are a lot less reasons to "put yourself in someone elses shoes rather than treating them in a sympathetic, humane and compassionate manner.
Why would you take on someone elses faults by putting yourself in their shoes. It almost seems like saying they're always justified. It's distracting.
