now I'm seeing that he is charging 50, but it sounds like he's using 36 to give the user sp, so he's actually asking for $14 and an initial investment for instant account creation.... that's not the worst thing in the world.

he's using about 6 bucks to get the account for the person. The rest of it is delegated SP that can be retrieved .. not the indefinite delegation that he's claiming. He's using Vessel to create the accounts and it takes the click of a trashcan and a week to reclaim the SP that is delegated.
Paypal chargebacks and other paypal injustices and fact they can take ur account away is like night and day with bitcoin...and crypto...man crypto is so amazing compared to paypal, but yeah paypal such a big risk...
Paypal is a lot easier to use for something like this than it used to be if he's done it correctly. Being the business wizard he claims to be, that shouldn't be a problem.
Completely agree with you @battleaxe . good or no good service i can not say anything about it but how in the hell could he ever though that the name SteemFail was going to not piss off this wonderful community .
It bad marketing for himself and his project but also it brings unneeded negative attention to the Steemit platform. It makes Steemit look bad in the eyes of a new commer.

Thanks for the post sweetheart. It explains to me what was going on. It was my perception that everyone was ganging up on Jerry Banfield out of jealousy.
I see now why people are angry. It looks as if Jerry Banfield is taking the problems of Steemit as an opportunity to turn a quick buck!

Banfield is taking PayPal and Stripe. This is a huge risk for him. He should be asking for $200 to mitigate the risk.
