Well sometimes things spin around you and you feel disoriented
A Compass just going around in circles
We all spin like wheels within wheels
Things collapse
Things grow if properly watered
Some are too thirsty
Some are overly quenched with avarice and destroying for the sake of destruction itself......
I want to see the leaves turn crimson and smile
I will hike that mountain
unplug from this infernal machine and walk off into the woods
Then the Compass will slow
It will stop spinning and it will steady itself to point to where I belong

You just described how I feel here in the city .. Compass needle spinning ...out of control. I NEED/miss my "Darwinian" walks in the mountains, and yes, the needle stops spinning, and the swarm of mind leaches all fade away. I Soo "get" what your saying ...
