It's NOT like 30 Days in the Hole
Yesterday February 3, 2018 marked one month on Steemit for me.
Let me rephrase that. I have now been on Steemit for exactly one month.
I can't believe it's only been a month.
What a place. I still shake my head and wonder about how great this platform has been for me. My writing has been well recieved, unexpectedly so. I blogged for over a year on the outside before I had as many people following as the month here.
I have done 'give and take' with an incredible number of people. You all have no way of knowing, but I own half of a website that has several hundred members and I get way more engagement here. The possibilities are just limitless.
Fortunately, I have affiliated with a number of wonderful groups.
adsactly My first affiliation. Every day I feel more strongly about the place and the people. The discord room is incredibly helpful and informative.
Minnow Support Project I came for the upvote offered to newbies. I stay and hang around for the people and energy that just radiates from there. PAL is a force!
Qurator This was suggested to me by Dave McCoy and I hesitated for a couple of days. Silly me, this is the real deal.
NewbieResteemDayIt started pretty simply as a way to help newbies and a way to introduce myself to them. A major explosion and I met Dave McCoy among many others. Terrific program that comes from Grass Roots.
Isle of Write Two days. I've been there two days, I'm way over my head and can't wait to fully explore and tap into the whole experience. Another real deal.
I've met people. I'm not going to even try to name them because I'll forget someone and will hate myself in the morning. I already don't respect myself in the morning. But the caliber of people that are available is stunning. Never before have I met this many people that I genuinely like in this near proximity.
The future's so bright I gotta wear shades!

The groups have been a scary thing for me, I've yet to dive in but you know that I asked you about them...You seem to be excited for them so I trust ya man lol
But yeah, Steemit has been....A revelation for me. I haven't been this excited for something in years....Refreshed my belief in humanity too LOL
Yeah. We have experienced some humanity in the last few years, and the general population here seems much better suited to my thinking. I'm having fun.

I'm a naturally curious person. Being able to peruse multiple topics in a friendly and welcoming environment is just astounding to me. Thanks for being part of that.

Steemit is a great place...I have only been here a couple weeks and the people that I have met are just awesome
This is a wonderful positive post. I have found Steemit to be an absolute gift thus far. I am trying to carve out more time to spend here and more time to contribute content.
My one-month just hit a couple days ago too! So far, it's been a helluva ride.
