I just want to say something briefly about the heart. But in a different term.

In the old testament,the heart is the seat of emotion and commitment,
For example the Bible says " And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart,all your soul,and all your strength" ( Deuteronomy 6:5 NLT).
It is the seat of emotion,commitment and passion. Hence it is referred to as Integrity of heart.
Integrity is intrinsic to the nature of God.
In other words the Trinitarian God Himself is integrity because there is no inconsistency or incorruptibility with him. The heart of man is desperately evil; to have godly integrity therefore requires a circumcision of the heart.
The depth of man's integrity is in direct proportion to the depth of godliness of his heart.
