It's my eldest son's Birthday and we had a little celebration for him. He is now taller then me and another few more years he would be experiencing life as an adult.
As a father/parent, we always want whats best for our kids and watching them grow year after year it brings us satisfaction to know we did our best to get them into adulthood, however there is a little bit of sadness as we celebrate each birthday with them as time just seems to fly so darn fast and knowing that soon they would not rely on you as they lead their own independent lives.
This was him just 7 years ago... And now he is soo much more mature and independent.
I do remember the birthdays I celebrated with my father, and I've always treasured those moments not because of presents (which I didn't get much) but it was mainly because I get to celebrate it with him.
Well... Another year.. Another birthday.. They really do grow up fast. Hoping to spend every exciting moment with the kids, that is satisfying enough.
At least it's something great to celebrate with all the negative news about Malaysian politics and Covid-19 virus and worst... The fall of Crypto prices.. Haha
