With regard to your query......there are times the included photographs bring more meaning to the principle and other times they are just icing.
Since you inquired.....I gave it a think, because at first I was under the impression the photographs were not really relating to the principle.......look again at the glass bowl......it creates a boundary if you will.....a perimeter within which to not only contain the pears but also to protect the pears.......which is what acting responsibly does for the human being.
