I have realized this for a long time that we are in a very unnatural state in the world. Large corporations and even nations being ran by low performers. Having absurd amounts of pay for management positions in companies they could never create themselves. There likely has never been a time like this in history where such mediocre performance would have any market value. The woman doing DEI hiring at Twitter before Elon bought it was making $18 Million / year. Let that sink in.
It's unsustainable and will cause a lot of companies into bankruptcy and will cause nations to lose their identity and completely destabilize.
I have noticed this a lot in interactions with women. They keep a lot of useful men in their orbit and will even go to the extent of marrying and having kids with men and then pray mantis them through divorce to secure their own future and get the guy working for her remotely paying out child support. Pretty insane. Oftentimes the highest performers and genetically most competent individuals aren't having kids is another after effect of this I have noticed. Not always the case but noteworthy.
This video perfectly proposes that the rise of the Betas is an intermediary stage for women to gain all the control and power. Most can atteat that men have lost so nuch leverage in this society compared to other times in human history.

I agree. Things will get worse over the next 15 to 20 years and people that once had a marketable skill will be replaced by automation as well so much so that even in 5 years there will be a ton of people that really aren't productive.
We already see a lot of these places in the rust belt that had their peak 40 years ago and are crumbling.
A lot of companies will make nonsense decisions by people who should have never been in power but some of them will get bailed out again by all of us unwillingly until it's so far gone things really fall apart.
I know you have seen this coming for a while now - so, what's the plan? how are you preparing for something so many cannot yet see coming?
i will be going the off grid farming life route, potentially becoming a prompt engineer on icp if i even have to have any system contact at all any longer. not sure i want to or need to.
apart from growing my own produce and using icp and blurt, i really see not much reason to do much else considering where we both see society at large heading in the near future. i would love to put some truther kids into this world to preserve the non-smart-city human knowledge, but that can only come after the plants have started producing fruit.
so it's out of my hands sorta.
the funny thing is: more than scared or anxious, I instead feel excited and hyped up about this impending time of potentially unfathomable upheaval and chaos. weird, ahahaha. as some of the spiritual people say - maybe we did come to earth on purpose for this, who knows.

It's a good question and I see a lot of value in just living the homesteader life and just working on most things remotely. I feel like there are levels to all of it.
Here someone could be 40 miles away from major big box stores like Walmart and Home Depot and be pretty far off the beaten path or someone could even go further secluded than that in a place like Northern Michigan or Deep in the Ozarks in Missouri or Arkansas.
The biggest issue with me doing that are the women. It is very hard to get a woman who is on board with that. It's tough to keep women in the loop for a couple months. They are quick to throw things away here.
So I feel like going heavy homesteader route can really bottle neck someone with the women.
Guys are already ending up empty handed out here even living closer to the cities. It ends up being way worse out in the remote areas.
The other solution that is likely better for me is to go to Eastern Europe and it might be like going back in time partially.
Well, it's always a question of priorities. But I do know for a fact that such women exist, maybe you need to go check out some permies gatherings or something! ahahaha

As for Eastern Europe, the "modernity" fad has largely caught up by now. So more and more people there are now quickly getting into moving into the city and rejecting the inherited farm from their grandparents.
