The new secret, idyllic and quiet place to be in Spain

in #life6 years ago

Hi everyone !
this is a hint for THE place to be on the nice and idyllic, Balearic Island of Mallorca. The most people expect it to be a German andBritishh invaded island, famous for the Ballermann. But thats by far not what the island is. Apart from the beautiful vegetation, the clear blue Water of the Atlantic Ocean or the astonishing Tramuntana Mountains for hiking and biking addicts, the Island offers beautiful, authentic, traditional, quiet villages to be.
In this post I would love to introduce THE village to be.
Puigpunyent is small village located in the Mountains. On the Top of the Mountain nearby you can see a dreamlike Hotel, including a gourmet restaurant called Son Net. In the village there are a few authentic Spanish restaurants and a idyllic marketplace, which offers your the opportunity to take a nice beverage or a snack there in front of an old typical built mallorquin church. In the Morning and in the evening you hear the donkeys from the farm and you see the sun rising in a beautiful orange yellowish color.
Thanks to the kind of central location on the island, which always offers you the pain of choosing several breathtaking cliffs or beaches to go. You reach those locations in like 20-30 minutes, depends on where to go.
The capital of Mallorca, Palma de Mallorca isn't far away either. A short ride through the mountains leads you in about 15 minutes directly into the center of the city. Locals call Palma, the small Barcelona because of the very simular architecture. There are a few building designed by one auf Gaudis students and of course you can't miss the chance to visit the great cathedral near the harbor.
Especially by night, when all light show on the cathedral, I will promise you will shoot a photo to fall in love with.

Enjoy your trip and you won't regret anything!IMG_9683.PNGIMG_9685.JPGIMG_9684.jpg
