Jumping from great heights is no joke. Yes, it may seem fun and effortless but I can testify that it envolves a lot.
Seen here is my brother, jumping from a height of 7m. Of course the experience was fun, exhilarating, adrenaline pumping and all the rest but the amount of courage and will that it took to jump this height can not be weighed.
Standing 7m above a swimming pool, staring down at the water gives one goose bumps, gets ones heart beating and makes one consider the reason behind doing this. Similarly in our lives we may experience and face challenges, dreams, goals etc. that will present themselves as obstacles to us on our path to joy and happiness (living with our Heavenly Father again). Just as my brother had to exercise courage, discipline, determination and doing what he believed he could; he was able to achieve his goal. He made the leap of faith into a void with the knowledge that there was only water underneath him. When we make our leap of faith through our trials and challenges we can do so knowing that God is on our side. Knowing that He is his hand are open underneath us to catch us when we fall. Knowing that he will raise us up again. All this can be done according to our faith in Him. Our faith in Christ and whether we have turned to Him when we are at our lowest. Heavenly Father loves us - all of His children. He desires our return back to Him.
Take that leap of faith for yourself and you will find that the love of your God will catch you and encircle round about you.
