Here the climate is cooler than the rest of the country because of the higher altitude, lots of trees. Some people who work in Nairobi have families in the countryside.
During holidays like Easter and Christmas, they get time to see their loved ones because most companies close for about 2 weeks. Wafula, whose upcountry is in Webuye, has to travel for almost 8 hours to reach his county and the only time this can be done is during holidays or when his on leave.
The weather is so cool in the countryside, the air so fresh, because of the trees, it's a simple and peaceful life.Most prefer to go to the country to visit their loved ones,spend time with their families, and it's cheaper than going for holiday .
I saw this young boy looking after the cows, look how relaxed he looks.
