Between the drama with North Korea and the madness of the summer weather, things are getting decidedly feisty out there!
We will soon be choosing sides in what I believe is an inevitable global war.
The USA under Trump seem determined to push North Korea into war, which will spread globally. Neither China not Russia will tolerate an American presence on their border and this ratchets up the potential conflict significantly.
I believe, if the US and it's allies make a move on North Korea, Russia will begin it's move into Ukraine and the north of Korea.
China too will see this as an opportunity to consolidate the south China sea area's as well as perhaps Taiwan.
My take on this is stop the drills in South Korea and allow KIm to cool down. Save the rhetoric and accept NK will have nuclear weapons.
Then they must come to the table with other nuclear nations and begin to agree on usage and testing.
Giving them up will not be an option as far as North korea are concerned. They have no faith in American promises and can reflect on recent history to confirm their fears.
About to hit the Caribbean and the USA are not one but potentially three new cat 5 Hurricanes.
The destruction and cost of these storms will leave a bill of billions and maybe trillions to recover from.
After Harvey, we may have thought it was as bad as it gets and yet here we go again!
I wrote a book some time ago that starts with a North Korean attack on the Canaries. Perhaps the destruction that follows in the book may play it soon enough in real life, but maybe without the zombies!
