So, every Tuesday each of us will choose something to tell you.
Let's start with me, Arianna!
As a true travel addict, I chose to write about one of my favorite trips I did last year around the wonderful SLOVENIA!
An enchanting green land full of nature, animals and flowers.
Have you ever been there?
If the answer is NO, then take a cue from my advice!
These are the must-see places if you decide to visit Slovenia for three days!
1. Postojna Cave
It’s about 20 km of underground paths that will leave you breathless. Once an hour you can take a comfortable train that will take you almost to the center of the Earth! 😊
The cost of each ticket is about € 26 and it’s worth it!
Just remember to dress warmly: even if it's sunny outside, the temperature into the caves is 8°C (46 °F) throughout the year!
2. Predjama Castle
Not far from Postojna caves, this building is right out of a fairytale.
This castle is impregnable and was built starting from the XIII into a cave to prevent access to enemies. It’s truly enchanting.
Every year, in July, the most famous medieval event take place.
Predjama castle can be visited throughout the year, I strongly recommend you do it.
Tickets can be bought just outside for €13.50 each.
3. Lubjiana
This is the beautiful capital city of Slovenia and, although she’s very small, it is really a little gem.
Just because it’s not dispersive, let yourself be guided by your instinct: you will discover unique colors and flavors and you will understand why it was difficult for me going back home!!
Some information?
- The castle is very beautiful, is located on a hill accessible on foot or by funicular (open all year).
- Lolita Bakery , for an unforgettable snack or breakfast.
- Klobasarna , typical meat of the place and also the name of the best street food in the city.
Cheap and very small, it’s always busy: I went there for breakfast and it was great! 😊
4. Bled Lake
I loved Slovenia after visiting this place.
It’s a very famous lake, inside which there’s a small island reachable by boat.
I have no words to describe Bled, so I leave you the pictures and I hope you will understand ...
5. Bled Castle
Go, go, go! The ticket costs € 11 and is totally worth it!
Inside the castle typical medieval settings have been recreated and there’s a stunning lake view.
6. Vintgar gorge (OPENS ON 1 APRIL)
A walk of about 2km within a breathtaking karst gorge!
What else?
Remember to pack a pair of comfortable shoes, a rain jacket and a camera...

#4 LOOKAT_IT: ARIANNA GOES TO ... SLOVENIA!
Il primo post della settimana è quello dedicato alla scoperta di...noi due, Andrea e Arianna.
Ogni martedì ciascuno di noi sceglierà qualcosa da raccontarvi;
questa volta iniziamo da me, Arianna!
Da vera travel addicted, ho scelto di raccontarvi uno dei miei viaggi preferiti dello scorso anno: la meravigliosa SLOVENIA!
Una incantevole terra verde colma di natura, animali e profumo di fiori.
Ci siete mai stati?
Se la risposta è NO, allora prendete spunto da questi miei consigli!
Questi sono i luoghi da vedere assolutamente se vi trovate per tre o quattro giorni in Slovenia!
1 Grotte di Postumia
Si tratta di circa 20 km di percorsi sotterranei che vi lasceranno senza fiato. E’ possibile accedere all’interno delle grotte tramite un comodissimo trenino che vi porterà quasi fino...al centro della Terra! 😊
Il costo di ogni biglietto è di circa 26 € ma non fatevi scoraggiare perché ne vale davvero la pena!
Mi raccomando, però, copritevi bene: anche se fuori c’è il sole, all’interno delle grotte la temperatura è di 8°C durante tutto l’anno!
2 Castello di Predjama
Non lontana dalle grotte, questa costruzione sembra essere appena uscita da una fiaba.
Si tratta di un castello praticamente inespugnabile, costruito a partire dal XIII all’interno di una grotta, difficilmente accessibile e davvero incantevole.
Ogni anno, nel mese di luglio, viene organizzato un grande evento medievale, il più famoso in Slovenia.
Il castello è visitabile durante tutto l’anno, io vi consiglio assolutamente di farlo.
I biglietti possono essere comprati all’esterno al prezzo di 13.50 € cad.
3. Lubjiana
Si tratta della bellissima capitale della Slovenia e, sebbene questa città sia decisamente piccolina, è davvero un piccolo gioiello.
Il consiglio che vi do è quello di non preoccuparvi troppo di mappe ed orari, non è dispersiva e quindi lasciatevi guidare dal vostro istinto: scoprirete colori e sapori unici e capirete perché per me è stato difficile tornare a casa!
Qualche informazione?
- Il castello della città è molto bello, si trova su un’altura raggiungibile a piedi oppure in funicolare (aperta tutto l’anno).
- Pasticceria Lolita , per una merenda o colazione indimenticabile. Provare per credere.
- Klobasarna , carne tipica del posto e nome del migliore street food della città.
Economico, piccolissimo e sempre molto affollato: io ci sono andata a colazione ed è stato magnifico! 😊
4. Lago di Bled
Ho definitivamente amato la Slovenia dopo aver visitato questo luogo.
Si tratta di un lago molto famoso, al cui interno si trova una piccola isola raggiungibile in barca.
Non ho parole per descrivere Bled, dunque vi lascio le foto e spero capirete...
5. Castello di Bled
Andate, andate, andate! Il biglietto costa 11€ e ne vale la pena assolutamente!
All’interno del castello sono state ricreate tutte le ambientazioni tipiche medievali ed inoltre la vista sul lago è insuperabile.
Il castello dispone di un ristorante e di servizi igienici e se sarete fortunati, potrete partecipare a festival medievali gratuiti e decisamente appassionanti.
6. Vintgar gorge (APERTO DA APRILE)
Una passeggiata di circa 2km all’interno di una gola carsica mozzafiato!
Cos’altro dire?
Ricordatevi di mettere in valigia un paio di scarpe comode, una giacca antipioggia ed una macchina fotografica...
