Self to note ( Time, Ego, Truth, Untruth)

I wish I had more control over the moments of bliss I experience, if so I'd make them last forever. But maybe that's just another way us humans NEED control. The desire to expand both in duration and depth the positive experience in which we're having, and minimize the likelihood of of oscillating back to the other side of the pole- base reality or ego experience.

Ever since fast tracking my journey within a few years back, I've had experiences that words would only insult. All experience is ineffable. But what's an experience when you're not experiencing yet being experienced?

A sort of time taking control of your self, if you will. But this "time" is in your head. And in your stream of consciousness it seems to jump between future oriented dreams, and past oriented fictions (as that's what they are, let's not forget). Very rarely do we stay NOW.

Now now, "now" is quite the nebulous term. As even hazier is its concept. We can't seem to fully grasp the now. Well how can we when its shrouded in what seems to be a mystery beyond our minds. How long is now? Is there even now? Is this mine or our now?

If you'd enjoy royally fucking your brain up around the ideas of time i'd suggest reading Einstein's Dreams" by Alan Lightman. As a few quotes will show below:

Or for people who enjoy humor with their mind-fuckery, I refer to the legendary George Carlin:

For further research, you guys know how and where to look. If not I can refer you to many great books and online content. But back to where we were.

It seems if there were ever a metaphysical archon their names would be time and ego. Ego to keep us in our ever wandering thoughts always outside the moment itself, and time as dark backboard to which ego walks hastily in front of, as if being chased. Sitting in on a coffeeshop will show you just how far us Westerners have strayed from the moment. Verily disillusioned by what Nietzsche would emphasis to be 'untruth'. It seems to be when those split moments of awareness meeting moment occur, time and ego fade away in an ephemeral flirt with the divine.

Is that feeling home? Is the now, home? There is no hate in the now, just love. There is no worry, for that left with ego. There is the unadulterated recognition of what Heraclitus knew to be the state of constant change. You either flow with the Now like water, or oscillate between fiction and an unattainable dream.

Sort:

That was great. Writing in a coffee shop is like watching the machinations of the masses at work.
I'm new so I just used your writing to figure out how to zoom in on a picture to read it in esteem app.

Thanks.
