How well you treat others is one of the greatest test of character. Character is actually your distinguishing feature or characteristics according to English dictionary. Treating others well has been the distinguishing feature of
a man of virtue.

Dr Myles Munroe once said "The greatness of a man is measured by the way he treats the little man. Compassion for the weak is a sign of greatness". I have observed managers and chief directors of various companies getting down from their cars and walk to open the main gate for themselves for their car to pass through. The security man sometimes gets worn out and takes a ramble due to stress. Personally I'm not surprise why he is not at the gate. I won't complain at all why he is not at the gate. I completely understand, because I feel how he feels.
In a situation or circumstance of life similar or different to this situation most people rather display or exhibit bad-mannered and rudely behaviour.
But sometimes we find ourselves in similar or different situation where most people tend to be rude. Someone who is bad-mannered and rude demanding in those situations has a character flaw. Eric Hoffer once said, “Rudeness is the weak man’s limitation of strength.” The fact of life is that, It takes no intelligence at all to be rude.
Courtesy is willingness to provide something needed. Courtesy is love in action. Showing respect and being generous, kind to even in the smallest area of live.
Jesus said it all emphatically that “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”.
In our daily meeting with other people most especially those we classified low social class. When we meet security, secretary, waitress in fact anyone who serves us we must treat without being rude to them. We should rather be modest, courteous , treat other with respect. Cultivate the right attitude, live a positive life. Everyone who comes your way must be respect because they are worthy of it.
