Weaponized Food! Are GMOs A Tool Used To Reduce Our Population?

in #life8 years ago

Scientists feel it is necessary to make our food lethal when ingested by insects so they do not need any pesticides sprayed on them at all.

This weaponization may be less innocent than the PR stunts that the pharmaceutical industry wants you to believe...

Genetic engineers found a way to make food crops grow fragments of RNA that they can use bioweapon-style to interfere with the physiological properties of any species eating the food. LINK

Why?

The scientific reasoning behind this is that we need crops which can kill pests that happen to eat it so pesticides will never be needed.

This could be amazing news for mankind! The discovery of this was presented as good news for humanity because it would eliminate the need for pesticides and ultimately increase the production of food.

I Do Not Trust These Pharmaceutical-Bio-Warfare Companies.

One of the first articles I have posted on Steemit contains information about why GMO foods being very unhealthy for you.

As a skeptic human being I see a huge flaw: This technology could be used to target humans as well as the bugs in your corn!

Am I the only one who cringes when scientists tell you they have made your food "bio-weaponized" to kill the things that eat it?

Population Control

The exact system from which these scientists could control our population through GMOs is hard to rule out, however one circumstance has a higher chance of being real: Dropping sperm count.

The crops would be engineered to cause infertility in humans, many believe this is an ongoing process that has been happening for a while.

In fact, The sperm count in men living in developed countries has fallen by a remarkable 50 percent over the past 40 years, according to this medical study.

Let's not forget that developed countries consume the most GMOs...

Why I Dislike Weaponizing Our Food?

The area of science that is focusing on weapons should stay away from our food! I do agree with getting rid of pesticides, however replacing one poison with another does not cut the mustard!

This is literally making the crops that we eat poisonous so bugs will not survive if they eat it. I'm sorry scientists, I want to eat an organic fruit which wants to be eaten by the insects around it, that is the natural process (we call the foodchain) which shows me it is edible fruit!

I think it's not only about population control, but food control. It's not just about pests, good organic farms use many methods to control pests. For example, companion planting can significantly reduce pest problems.

They genetically modify foods to own them and control it's production. Take the arctic apple for example, they modified it so it wouldn't turn brown after you cut it. Nothing to do with pests, but for the aesthetic appeal. Now they own that product. You cannot grow it yourself (nor should you want to), but not only that, this arctic Apple presents a danger of cross pollination to all the other apple orchards in the area. A common risk with all of these gmo crops.

It is so sad that the industry which is creating our food is going to these lengths to modify.

I have practiced companion planting before, it is very effective.

Using Herbs As Companion Plants to Deter Pests
Aphids - Chives, Coriander, Nasturtium.
Ants - Tansy.
Asparagus Beetle - Pot Marigold.
Bean Beetle - Marigold, Nasturtium, Rosemary.
Cabbage Moth - Hyssop, Mint (also clothes moths), Oregano, Rosemary, Sage, Southernwood, Tansy, Thyme.
Carrot Fly - Rosemary, Sage.

I do not care if my apple turns brown after it is cut, you know what the solution to that is? Eat 1 apple at a time and keep the rest whole 😅

It does really seem like we are swimming around in an increasingly toxic soup. But how can we trust anything at all? Independent farmers may claim their crops are "organic," but how to they protect the air space above their farms?

We need to protect our bodies from these dangers. I can trust some people here on the island of Bali, they really know what they are doing.

Their heart is in the farming 🙏

At this point in time I do not think there is a way to protect the air...

I seriously cannot comprehend how people can believe that GMO is a good thing...... actually I can: they are programmed to watch TV, do not question the propaganda and just do as they are told.

That's why we eat organic and write Steemit posts ✊

And I don't know if you heard but the combination of vaccines with GMOs is a toxic mix for the body...

Sounds nasty, I am not surprised, maybe you should write an article on that?
