Congratulations on defeating that demon. I've never know that level of "need". However, I have other demons as do we all. Since my stroke I seem to have a shorter fuse with my wife of 49 years in November. A shorter fuse with everything actually. In the US we have a season of strife that I find especially unsettling. I'm a history buff and see this demonetization of people being a repeat of 1930's Germany when the government and news media focused a concerted effort to demonize Jews. The difference is that Germany disarmed the population including the Jews before they started to kill them. In the US conservatives are well armed and I fear if pushed too far there could be violence.
