RE: Meat consumption Kills your body, tortures the animals and devastates the environment!

in #life6 years ago (edited)

We sure can produce anything with a healthy gut bacteria, the rest is old knowledge. It is notoriously hard to test the actual production of amino acids and nutrition in our guts. But we know that the shikimic acid pathway is active at least. I would bet that we produce all AA´s without problem from JUST our e.coil, they need all 20 to synthesizes proteins, so they produce all 20, bacteria do not eat proteins in general lol :) They could degrade proteins outside the membranes and have nutrition enter via osmosis / diffusion but a possible de novo synthesizes sure is present!

But hard or not, we still discover more and more about our bodies and the dangers with meat and sugar every day it feels like.

B12 might be the only thing we need to add, but it is under debate, how much we actually can produce and absorb in our GIT.

P.s I read that vegans save over 1000 gallons water each everyday!

Thanks for reading, Peace <3

We are clearly not designed to eat meat. We have a long digestive track, no sharp incisors, and no pointed canine teeth. We can absolutely survive without meat and get plenty of nutrients just as gorillas do. People just want to create whatever reason they can to justify their destructive meat eating habits, but as you've pointed out, there is no real reason for it. In fact, there are many reasons against it if people are actually willing to simply pay attention to them.

What floors me the most are all the pet owners and pet lovers that would never think of eating their own animals but are more then willing to eat other animals on regular basis. What ridiculous duplicity from people that claim to love animals. It must be some very serious cognitive dissonance that keeps them from realizing this. Breaking people out of this state of denial often seems almost impossible to do.

Here's a really funny candid camera clip that totally exposes this duplicity:

You nailed it here! And the pets as well, a pig is as intelligent and emotional as any dog, and I bet they would not force their dogs to lay still giving birth to batch after batch, until paralyzes sets in. Then beat the dog until it moves or dies.....
The baby pigs even die in front of the mother and is left to rot right there in many cases...sick... :((

Thanks a lot for the input, gorillas are a prime example of a human like, muscular creature that does not need any meat!

Peace & veganism :)
