RE: Your Life Doesn't Have to Scale

in #life7 years ago

hi @indigoocean

We want a diverse world that's working for each person, not a bunch of robots being forced into conformity.

In current days 'diverse world' is not a good way of describing world you want to live in. Thanks to few politicians this word is slowly being hated all across the globe.

Diverse world for many (including me) means cultural, languages, races etc. diversity. Which is a very sensitive topic.

Anyway let me finish my comment with a sentence I've heard once: Think globally, act locally.

Yeah, some people are threatened by ideas I embrace. I still embrace it the way I think it though. I don't mind frightening weak minded people LOL.

I love the slogan to think globally and act locally. I would also say that even thinking personally is key. We best know ourselves. The more abstract we get, the further we get from what actually helps people, as opposed to what we think should help people.

If I see myself as a part of a global system, and then ask myself what would make my life best, then see how I can help someone else to have that too, I think this can guide me to some of the best choices for myself and everyone else.

Thank you for this amazing comment @indigoocean

Appreciate. Yours,
Piotr
