You're right that the true test will be when you stub your toe.

I can't say I never swear, but I consciously try not to. Every time I do it just doesn't feel right rolling off my tongue.

With so many beautiful ways of communicating, I'm convinced we should opt for words that improve the quality of our thoughts instead of degrade them.

Sort:  

I have an alternative motivation.. If I stop swearing and others stop swearing... then swear words will be powerful again and maybe they will be useful. In the meantime the English language is filled with lots of different words that essentially mean the same thing.. It's time to change it up. PG-13.
