Once we arrived at our lodge in Cape Tribulation we were really excited to go for a swim - but almost as soon as we got out the car we noticed the sign alerting us to yet another Australian danger.
In order to enter the lodge we had to cross a creek that required us to be in a 4x4 vehicle and our lodge was right at the end of the road - any further and you'd only be able to travel off road. Once we'd dumped our bags we walked up to the beach and I got a picture of our private hideaway.
