Our boat journey deep into the river and it's tributaries took us between 2 and 3 hours - we were on the hunt for crocodiles.
Along the way we spotted mangroves lining the river, with their heads poked out of the water hoping to get some more oxygen from the air. At this point the main wildlife we spotted were native Australian Green Tree Frogs, and an Amethystine Python... no sign of a crocodile yet.
