I've been writing each day in Chile, typically after I return from a trek or days work I'll sit for a few hours typing on Steemit. I wanted to make a few posts from a previous visit I made to Chile, because it will show you how the summer in Chile is a totally different experience.
You can see in the first picture the lake is even brighter blue, and the trees are much thicker and greener. In the second sit of pictures it is even more obvious - the spring browns and oranges have given way for vivid greens.
Wow, these landscapes are wonderful, I envy you. What photo camera did you use? Cheers
Thank you. I carry my Samsung NX300 with me at all times!
Chile looks and sounds incredible @dannystravels - have only made it to Colombia and Peru in that neck of the woods but absolutely must return and visit Central / South America for longer.
Is there a particular time of year or set of places your recommend to visit?
hey @goodwithtravels and welcome to Steemit. Thanks for the comment. Yeah I would definitely recommend checking out Bonito (more info at bottom of this comment with some of my posts from there). I'm off to Atacama next.
Bonito translated means beautiful, and visiting the eco tourism capital of Brazil, it's easy to see why. We did a lot of snorkelling in what seemed like a huge outdoor aqaurium, visited underground caves in Abismo, and finally headed to the spectacular Buraco das Araras.

Fantastic, great to hear it @dannystravels - have given you a follow as I'd love to hear and read more about the Atacama. Hope to stay in touch.
those are very splendid view, lucky you danny 😊
Thank you @koshin for the message. I do feel lucky every time I get to see this view.
Looks wild, I imagine the hiking is awesome there? Stunning.
The hiking is the best part. I'm going to be writing up a few posts from the hikes I've been taking the last couple weeks. Feel free to go through my older posts and look at some of the hikes I've already posted too.
Wow interesting to see the changes over a couple of years. These are great shots. Nothing like a view of a beautiful lake and a mountain in the background. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for checking out the post.
What temperature is that lake? Can you swim in it?
It's freezing cold! You can swim in it if you're crazy/brave enough.
Beautiful changes that nature gives us. Thanks for sharing your photos!
Thank you for checking out my post.
Woowww!! Will love to visit this place someday..:))
