Yes, these flowers were hidden at the northeast corner of my backyard. It must of been a bulb from the previous owners some 3 decades ago. I don't plant flowers, but some how they show up every now and then.

I did a Google search on my picture and they mention that it might be a lily. I know that lilies grow from bulbs and there are bulbs in my ground and are really part of the ground as far as I know. So the flowers show up from time to time.

So I did have a little adventure in my backyard looking for something to take a picture of.

Well, I sure hope my cat doesn't play with this lily.

You see maybe a couple of decades back I had another cat. A fluffy cream colored cat. Well, at my work they had something so they had extra flowers in little pots.

Well, they gave me one and I took it home, then my cat wanted to eat some of it. Then I noticed my cat had diarrhea, but I had no idea that the plant and my cats diarrhea was connected.

Then I called one of my friends and she ask me if I brought something new into the house. Then she said, Like a flower of some kind? Then I look at the flower that was given me. Then she told me that if it is a lily it is poison to a cat.

Then I took that plant and threw it into the garbage. Then my cat stopped having diarrhea. I wished I would have talked to my friend earlier.

Well, that was my cat that I had from 1997 to 2008. I buried her in my backyard under my orange tree. I had another cat that I inherited and he died in 2008 too, only a little later than my furry cream colored cat. I buried him under my orange tree also.

I told my sister that when I die, I wanted to have my ashes buried under my orange tree, but my sister told me it was against the law. I told her no one had to know, but she said that she would know. Well, I guess I won't be buried under my orange tree then.

Funerals are so expensive. That reminds me of a scripture, as it is written, with Jesus speaking, Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. Luke 9:60.

That reminds me of another scripture, as it is written, I the rose of Sharon, the lily of the valleys. Song of Solomon 2:1.

So this lily is hidden in my backyard and it is good that my current cat has no interest in it.

Let's end with a scripture, And it shall come to pass, whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21.
