So they, them do the scamming, gave me an email titled, Case ID [23583334]. Sure it sounds official and it says it is from Apple, yet the email is really, AppIe ([email protected]), now does that look like a legitimate email of Apple to you? Somehow they figured how to put the name of Apple on this weird email that goes to them that do the scam.
They say that someone logged into my account, but what account? They will always have to tell you general things. If one goes by their emotions and doesn't really study the scam emails, one might fall for such an email.
Best thing to know is that the scammers will always contact you, just expect them and do not click on anything they give you in their email scam that they are hoping you are falling for.
In this email, they want me to click on their link. Well, if you are worried about your account, then don't click on their link, go to the official website, that you always use and check if their is anything going on in your account from the official website. More than likely, there is nothing wrong with your account.
It is the scammers that do this everyday to people that they prey upon and hope that the people won't ask too many questions, yet you should question everything and not trust anything on the internet, until you have checked it out on their official website and think that any link that they send you will give you more problems than you can handle.
Notice on the image they say it has something to do with my card, but they don't say what card. Again they talk in general terms. Of course you don't want to give out any personal information over the phone and any information over the internet.
They might even tell you that they will close or suspend your account, if you don't update using their scam link. I say, let them close your account, if they can, but they won't close your account for they are scammers and don't even know what kind of account you have, until you tell them, and off course you shouldn't tell them anything.
So the scammers are hoping that I will fall for their scam. The best thing for me to do is to mark this email that they sent me as spam, which I did, so that email won't bother me and others as much, but they will always come back, maybe with another email. Just think that they use hundreds of different emails, but at least this email won't bother me as much.
