It Looks Like A Little Getaway 5.22.2020

I took this picture a couple of days ago. It is a little space behind my detached garage. Yes, those are grape vines. Maybe I will have a lot of grapes this summer.

I sometimes go back there just to look. The next door neighbor have some kids and there have been balls and toys thrown over the fence.

I just go and throw them back over the fence. I remember doing the same as a little kid and losing a ball or two cause the ball was kicked with too much energy.

Do any of you eat fresh grape leaves? Well if you do, try to eat the younger leaves over the older leaves. It will taste better that way.

I sometimes eat them, but I haven't in awhile. It is good to know that it can be a food source.

To the right of the picture is where a shed is, but you can't see it in the picture. The shed is broken as next to the shed was a young persimmon tree. Well, the neighbor kids that lived in the back climbed on the shed to pick some persimmons and the roof caved in. That happened decades ago. Those kid that did that probably have their own kids now.

Well, those little metal sheds were not made to climb on top of. So the shed has a roof that is collapsed. I just keep it that way. There was nothing much in the shed.

It is that the grapevines have grown on the shed. That is good as the grapevines will use the broken shed for support. Yes, and I can pick grapes off of them.

There are skunks that have dug burrows under that broken shed. So I guess nature is using the broken down shed. I like skunks as they like to eat mice and rats. There are mice and rats in my area so I keep the skunks around.

There are people that say they can trap skunks and take them away. The thing is, they will charge you for it.

They will charge $450 per animal that they catch. Well, for that price I would rather just keep the skunks. Can you imagine paying $900 cause they caught 2 skunks? And the thing is, other skunks can come around an take there place. No, I will just save money by not hiring those people.

Yes, this little spot does seem like a little getaway and sometimes I even use it as a little getaway for a little time every now and then.

Let's end with a scripture, Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. 1 Timothy 4:13.
