Definitely wouldn't scam someone because I was scammed, it's terrible thing to do, and honestly I thought the agreement should have been honoured or explain why you cannot honour it. It's a sad thing
yep, if you are in big trouble, explain, most of people are reasonable anyways if you are willing to talk
