While it is true we have been polluting our planet, it is also true that as technology advances, we will be polluting less and less until there is practically no pollution whatsoever.
The people against technological innovation are not aware that technology is the only way to improve our lives and the world. Imagine if we had stopped our technological progress 2 decades ago and take into account all the modern gadgets and services that depend on technology developed in those 20 years, none of them would work and our lives would be much worse.
I agree that technology is the future for us, if we look around us, the things that make our lives good exist because of technology.
