We're just at the end of a three week heatwave that saw massive fires on the nearby mountain. What a fright we got when we had a military helicopter hover over our lake, likely considering drawing water from it. I thought we were being raided!:) Of course we had our towels close to hand, for as you know, a towel has immense psychological value:)

A few years ago, I saw a big Chinook helicopter picking up buckets of water from a mountain lake for firefighting. I usually just see airplanes dumping retardant chemicals or water though.
Remember, you can wet a towel and twist it into a formidable weapon for hand-to-hand combat!
