As a little boy growing up I knew this Nutmeg tree, it produce many great pods season round, am sure that this tree its and its owner, are very proud.
As children in the neighborhood we played on, under and around this tree, and if you were skilled enough “as I was” you may have even relaxed on it and ate a few fruits. With long branches it provided the perfect shade on a hot sunny day; it brought forth jet BLACK seeds of Nutmegs with vivid Red Mace which definitely caught your attention. .
Now why am I telling you all this, well basically, to let you know that this tree had a wonderful life and it made a mark in my mind. But the picture cleanly shows something totally different. This is what I call (The Life Cycle). We are introduced with a clean slate and the possibility to do Amazing things, it all about CHOICES & MINDSET! One thing is for sure, that this tree went through some rough weathers. Everyone has a fair shot at life, and this tree made Perfect use of it in my opinion. Even in its dying stage, it proves a home for the plants which are growing on it.
The lesson behind this story for me is: be the BEST you can honestly be despite the outside opinions, and when you think to yourself that, that’s all you can give trust me, you got more within. If your effort can help ONE person, be a better vision of them self, you can tap yourself on the shoulder and say you did a GREAT job.
