Today it struck me: just how much damage a single thief does.
Many people remember the times they were robbed in their life. From time to time you have a chat with your friends about how stupid you were not to pay attention at that moment or gasp at stories of violent theft (hopefully not you as you read this).
But thinking about it from the other way - how many thefts does a single pickpocket have to do each day to justify a living. 5? 10?
So, a single professional impacts negatively a huge number of lives, in a way that most will always remember.
... time spent robbing and thieving can better be spent adding value here on Steem!
