I was very disillusioned with President George Bush and government.
Then the first time I voted it was a recount...
I was apolitical coming out of high school for sure.
Even though my parents were democrats. And my stepfather UAW union member.
I was surprised my school did not. But we knew parents might not be able to get home so we had to keep the kids safe.
If I remember correctly, when I got home and starting watching the news, the second tower got hit.

I just remember watching the news at home, and my mother telling me to stay in the house.
It seem like there was anthrax that year or around that time too.
And then the D.C sniper...
And I lived in that area.
