Hello fellow Steemians, it's quite a while I shared my thoughts. I just resumed school and my registration has been time consuming and hectic. That not withstanding, I earnestly desire to fulfill my promise of writing on the topic, "What they were influenced by"
Anyone can spit different kind of influence; positive or negative, at your face. It's left for you to decide which, you ingest into your mindset. It has often been believed that one has no control of what influences him or her, most especially his or her environment/soceity
It is believed that if an individual comes out from a society where vices are the order of the day, he or she is going to be a menace because his or her society has greatly influenced him or her. Well, that thesis is partly right and wrong.
All right, let's look at this scenario;
Eunice and her twin, Evangel grew up in a society full of vices. Their parent cared less about who they are friends with, where they go or what they wear.
Their parents attitude was enough to give them bad upbringing. Their society was a force enough to make them hoodlums and thugs.
On one side, Evangel grew up to a man full of integrity and honor. But on the other hand, Eunice grew up to be an aggressive, ill-mannered and an hoodlum.
Now my question goes, "what influencesd him? What influenced her?"
It's obvious the twins where each influenced different. They both choosed what to influenced them.
Whatever an individual chooses to influence him or her has the power tomake or Mar him or her.
People can come from same society for families and behave differently. And the question that seep to our mind is, "what were they influenced by differently?" The truth is, each of them decided what influenced their lives that's why they are who they appear to be, and how they appear to be.
Never let the world decides what influences you.
Never let your society decides what influences you.
Dare to choose what influences your life.
