Self assuredness is a phrase used to denote the state of being self assured. A self assured individual thus, wields the ability to show indefatigable belief in their thoughts and deed. This unflappable demeanor is rooted in a profound trust in their abilities, which is in turn, nourished by a healthy estimation of their talents, honed through gritty self application. This state is more combustible that jet fuel, as it catalyses unrepressed competence, cutting across the entirety of their endeavours. Imposter syndrome is given uncomfortable lodging and doubt is pummeled by dogged desire. We witness real time displays of this in the extraordinary feats achieved by seemingly ordinary people. This tacit deployment of wit, grit and everything in between is not only admirable, but is also a potent catalyst for aspirational improvement. From Olympians to Entrepreneurs and Creatives to Scientists, we must all apply ourselves in a way that scare us and edify us, preferably in equal measure. As I urge every young person to dig deep and bring forth all facets of greatness embedded in their core, I am also inspired to congratulate our awe-inspiring ingenuity.
