Good Morning Everyone~ This is Echo Cadence here to tell all of the fathers, step fathers, and single mothers who play both parts out there to have an amazing Father's Day and to eat that slice of pie.
I know that there are so many daddies out there that love their children to the moon and beyond and would do anything to ensure their happiness and well being. Thank you to all of the fathers that do their parental duty as best as they can, and please don't ever quit being loving to your children. They do appreciate.
Now, there are many children out there who have never known what it means to have a father figure, and there are just as many children who have had a father figure in their life who is just as bad as fictional bad guys.
It's difficult, and I am so very sorry to those that have suffered due to the absence or the cruelty of those who were supposed to treat you like the treasure you are. You children (Yes, I'm referring to the adults, for what exactly are adults? Just over grown children who pay bills) deserve to be loved and to believe that you are worth kingdoms and worlds.
The only verbiage I have to offer may not be worth much, but it is what I believe. You are worth everything and deserve to have happiness in their life. It's okay to hurt over this, although I'd rather that your heart be filled with love and tummy with pie. This pain that the failing parent has put you through is not your fault; it is all their own.
Be like this guy.
Please don't allow the bitterness of having disappointing fathers or lack of thereof keep you from being the ideal mother/father/ or pet parent that you've always deserved and that your child (or fur child) deserves.
Don't be like this guy.

I was thinking the same thing! There are so many people that don't have good relationships where their parents and are pressured into having to be nice to them on Mothers or Fathers day. Just because they're your parent doesn't mean they aren't toxic.
It's okay not to wish them a happy mother's or father's day.
