Zoology and Numismatics; a combination to reflect

in #life5 years ago

Since childhood I have always liked to collect coins; Dad constantly helped me get new coins. I think they are objects that serve to remember places we knew or want to know, remember loved ones, and also to attract prosperity.

On this occasion I would like to tell you about one of my collections; This is about the "Threatened Wild Fauna of Peru" collection, and that together we reflect on the important message it can convey to us.

The purpose of the "Threatened Wild Fauna of Peru" collection is to present a small part, specifically 10 representatives of the fauna of Peru in danger of extinction; and also raise awareness about the importance of the preservation of the species of our environment and the care of the environment; also continue with the impulse of numismatic culture in Peru.

Now, leaving aside the issue of coins and numismatics, it is time to talk about those 10 species that shout help at a catastrophic moment that could be the end of their existence on this planet. The endangered species that star in this collection are:

Andean Bear in Glasses (Tremarctos ornatus)

Titicaca Frog (Telmatobius culeus)

These 10 roped friends are in danger of extinction And whose fault will it be? Of the cow? Ah! She is probably jealous for not appearing in any currency ...

Well no, dear readers. This terrible situation has another name: Homo sapiens sapiens. Unfortunately, the actions of man on Earth have not been precisely the most appropriate, because the problem that the endangered species are experiencing is due to the activities of humans. Among these deadly activities include:

• Environmental pollution.
• Logging and burning of vegetation.
• The use of dynamite and toxic substances.
• Mining activity.
• Hunting activities; especially because it is one of the biggest causes of the extinction of the species and that without a doubt is totally intentional.
• The trade of skins and hides of wild animals.
• The introduction of exotic species that eliminate native species. Among other...

With the passing of time, all of these activities have resulted in a benefited and enriched man; and on the other hand deteriorated ecosystems, impoverished and threatened with death.

Reflection:

It is important that the entire human race understand that the Earth was first inhabited by plants and animals; and due to the synergy of both, there was a chemical and biological balance in the biosphere. If at present, the species Homo sapiens sapiens disappears in its entirety from the face of the Earth, the latter would be greatly benefited; on the other hand, if the plants or animals disappeared, the opposite would happen, the Earth would suffer irreversible damage. So ... Who depends on who?
