Are we here to learn or earn is what I will ask again? There is a popular university I know whose slogan is "for learning and culture".
CREDIT
A fundamental truth we do not realize is you only earn when you learn, and the learning is not about reading and writing, it is about gaining an in-depth understanding of how an environment or system operates.
So many know, but so few understand
To learn means to accept a step by step process of consistent trial and error, a process which is only completed by an unwavering zeal to push one's self beyond a preconceived capacity .
We all have so much to learn only if we'll avail ourselves to all the learning outlets because what some fail to see is a learner is a winner.
Developing a winning attitude
I should as well say developing a learning attitude because true winning is learning. It has to be a personal decision.Evolution has it that it's survival of the fittest and only the strong survive.The survival is achieved through learning not earning.
The point is if we relate it to steemit, we can only survive when we learn. I will end this with a quote from @stellabelle during one of our brief talks on facebook

Be determined to survive through learning everyday here on steemit.
Quick question for discussion: what will happen if celebrities came to steemit? will it be the birth or death of it?

I think if celebrities came to Steemit it wouldn't be the same place anymore. They would get the lion's share of upvotes and comments as people try to connect with them
lol, I believe the steemit team has a contingency plan for that...well I hope so
Great question about celebrities. I have thought about this myself. As the communtiy stands right now I really think a celebrity would actually have to post creative content to earn votes, that they wouldn't just be given votes because they are famous; however, as the community grows and becomes more mainstream we may end up seeing something closer to twitter where celebrities have the most followers, retweets, etc. Hopefully by that time we'll all be established enough to still have our content recognized!
