Today I would like to present my new project to you. It is a performance including tap dance, singing, poetry and film in collaboration with Candice Martel. We will bring pure female experiences on the stage - avoiding any sort of cultural appropriation.

Their son married at last, the Wu family will be able to live in peace
Our union was celebrated this morning at the cemetery
Our bodies were covered with raviolis, the ultimate symbol of fertility
The Wu’s organized the ceremony according to the rules, everything was perfect
The other night a man strangled and sold me
To become a ghost wife
The one child policy, sterilisation, forced abortions The births of sons are inevitably preferred
Bodies of dead girls, difficult to find
The other night a man murdered me
It’s the first time he’s killed
Normally he just sells women’s cadavers for dead males Is it his fault the morgues have almost no more?
So there’s a scarcity.

by Emanuelle delle Piane - which you intend to use in your performance and I find them incredibly touching and disturbing at the same time. They gave me chills. Each story - even though they are short - grabs you by the bones.
If your performance is based on Piane's Variations sérieuses - it can only be breathtaking! I will certainly support your project on Le Pot Commun.

Oh my dear, this is so heart heart wrenching. My support is with you in whatever way you call for. There is a lot of fuss around women empowerment around the globe but the fact is that women are always the one who is expected to sacrifice and give in. Thank you for taking up this wonderful project

With being born a girl we want to bring this struggle and female experiences on stage. Without any cultural appropriation- which often happens in the analysis of the female struggle.
In what way do. you consider your gender an obstacle in your society?
