Thanks for sharing. I too have a passion for Motorcycles, and I have to admit that on my frequent short trips around town, I neglect to wear my helmet, boots, armor... I'm glad you had yours on, as you said, it did it's job! I too am a musician, a bassist playing 3-5 gigs/week. All it takes is one bad day on a bike to bring that to a halt, your story was a good reminder. Best wishes on a full recovery! You will ride again, and I hope youpick up that guitar as well!
