Attention big scam on HitBTC

in #life6 years ago

As many of you know, HitBTC still has "filing issues". Mainly with the TRX but also coinlancer and other chips.

I'm not trying to promote other exchanges or something like that. This message is here to raise awareness and protect others from being ripped off.

They know very well that they have problems with the deposits, but there is NO warning and anyone can generate a "deposit address" and send them the coins to steal ... The last time the problem was "fixed" and there was twitter etc.

This time though, here is the situation:

- No warning on the HitBTC web page that there might be something wrong with the repositories

- No warning on the health page of the system - in fact it's the opposite, he says that the wallet is online and work (it changes from time to time, but for the last 3 days it was mostly Live and running)

- They removed / closed all threads of the forum and redirected people to a thread generated by them -https: //forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/8381/trx-tron-missing-deposit-provide-your-hash- here / p1

In this thread, they ask people to copy paste TX Id etc - are you hiding me? ? You solve a filing problem BY ASKING PEOPLE? So what prevents me from simply copying the biggest transactions and pretending they are mine? ... I guess it's just a distraction, to calm everyone down, saying that people are "working on it"

- They started moving the deposit addresses but DO NOT give the coins to the owners, you can see that in this TX:

https://etherscan.io/token/Tronix?a=0x27250efad283aed390f75d8047064d06db72ee7b

https://etherscan.io/token/Tronix?a=0xa20c9b854a7593486eee85cdcb25a38bfab5c90b

https://etherscan.io/token/Tronix?a=0x27250efad283aed390f75d8047064d06db72ee7b

https://etherscan.io/token/Tronix?a=0x27250efad283aed390f75d8047064d06db72ee7b

https://etherscan.io/token/Tronix?a=0xe201439584975d1b013c92230cf5824caa916542

And many more, anyone can check the thread and check the transactions. Most of them have been moved to the main HitBTC wallet.

After the main wallet has been divided into different wallets and now all the rooms are moved to another portfolios and STILL there is nothing in the accounts of the users ...

- They send ONLY generic replies to the posts and in the forum - even if you have half a brain you can see that his single copy paste generic answers ...

But now,

let's go to goodies ... For all those who will say that this is not a scam and that everyone will have their coins:

Check for yourself - whenever they have deposit problems with a coin - this coin is in a pump!

Just compare the deadlines that people have had problems with a HitBTC coin and check the graphics!

When you add the simple fact that HitBTC lists any project shitcoin / shit as long as they have exclusivity for a period of time ... it becomes clear that this is the real scam, even if they give all the pieces currency!

Here's how it works:

- They choose a room they will pump / dump with some of the larger groups.

- At the beginning of the pump, they open a huge gap between any other exchange and HitBTC, so it seems that the price at HitBTC is 20 to 50% better!

- All day, traders and investors in this room, driven by the desire to sell at a better price, start filing at HitBTC.

- At this point ALL looks perfect at HitBTC, no problem, everything seems perfect

- People are waiting for the pieces, but right now "the problems" are starting

- HitBTC waits a few days, until people start to get angry, and sends a generic message to all, crypto is hard and they do everything possible to solve the problem (well maybe you should have stopped them records like all other decent exchanges when you can not handle it ...)

- People are now a little calmer, since ... what can they do ...

- A few days later, people get angry again - they send another generic message, and so on.

- At a certain moment "the problem is repaired" and everyone gets his pieces

- However the pump is over and as everyone is really afraid of losing their coins - people are selling to a big loos (guess who they are selling ... at the highest point of the pump and now they get your coins for free But what else can you do? No one would risk a TRX withdrawal after these problems ... so I want to withdraw, you have to do it via another currency ... no matter what you do, they will get your coins money

- Now it's time for the congratulatory post to twitter, stating that HitBTC was open even before dinosaurs, every custom has its money and a blowjob and they are the only exchange accepting new customers (they do ...)

I do not ask anyone to take this as a fact, the good thing is that everything can be checked! Do your own research! Check out the HitBTC Twitter account and find out when they had problems with the coins, check the chart at coinmarketcap to see if there was a pump / dump right now, check the movement in their main wallets - everything is there and everyone can see it.

To be honest, I do not think any of the TRX deposits will go hollow! They will invent a fantasy story and will have people waiting more than 30 days for a fucking deposit ... after I do not know ... I just hope it's not the next mtgox, cryptsy, mintpal etc ... was burned in every exchange that broke out, and it seems like the next one is coming.

It's simply not possible for these people, who make such scams, not to scam everyone at one time.

I also believe that many crypto web pages are paid for by HitBTC, so they do not share stories about the scams they do.

It's up to us, the users who believe in crypto, to protect it and make sure it has a future. Exchanges like HitBTC take people away from cryptography and give governments tools to ask for more regulations! By the scams of a big crypto exchange like this - every participant in the crypto world is suffering!

Check it out for yourself and when you see everything - tell everyone, tell your friends, post it on any page you can find, any social media etc. People must be aware that HitBTC is a scam and they could never get the coins they deposit there! There is no warning on the HitBTC site, so people continue to file and there are no complaints every day!

Hit BTC sucks. It's slow and have lags when logged in. Tried it once and will never try again. Binance and Brittrex are much better, but i prefer Binance

I am agree

@fabien32 why do you have so many comments "z" on this comment section? It's a bit odd.

Anyway, as you said, do your own research, different users have different experiences, I haven't had issues depositing or withdrawing TRX from hitbtc. I do find interesting the extrapolations, but it really doesn't matter much, too anecdotal imo to draw conclusions like that

Well, if I ever want to my BTC's to take a hit, I know where to go(haha)!

Thanks for the heads up

I've been trading at HitBTC and never had any problem. They did have troubles when it was the btc boom.

I mean, who didn't? I think every exchange had issues to withdraw as the BTC network was pretty heftily loaded, it caused issues not only for HitBTC.

I wonder if the author has gotten since his issue solved, hope he did :)

I mean you make interesting points, but the bulk of it seems to be in a assumption that you didn't provide proof on, you said "they do this on every pump", but only listed one example, how do we know there's not a agenda behind your words?

Either way, I remember back then yeah it took a bit (I think up to a week) until I was able to withdraw my coins, a bit of delay but nothing outrageous as you make it seem.

"Check for yourself - whenever they have deposit problems with a coin - this coin is in a pump!"

FYI It's just common decency to back up your claims, the burden of proof falls on you, not on your readers. If it happened with this coin doesn't imply it is their modus operandi, but people will probably hate on anything so, you go right ahead.
