Researchers analyzed about 60,000 cases of early dementia registered in France. It turned out that 57 percent of diseases are associated with craving for alcohol, which is expressed in the daily intake of 60 grams of ethanol in men and 40 in women.
It is noted that the revealed correlation is significant and indicates that chronic alcoholism is the main cause of dementia at a relatively young age.
